Estonian formin: Russia must right wrongdoings to restore relations with NATO

BRUSSELS, Dec 06, BNS - In order to return to normal communication with NATO, Russia must right the wrongdoings committed against Ukraine, this is the universal position of NATO, Estonian Foreign Minister Sven Mikser on Wednesday told BNS at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.

"When it comes to Eastern Ukraine, this means the full realization of the Minsk agreements, and when it comes to Crimea, stopping illegal annexation and restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine," Mikser said in a short interview to BNS after a meeting of a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers.

The minister said that Russia has committed a brutal violation of international law in Ukraine. "No NATO country or democratic state is prepared to accept changing borders with armed forces in the 21st century," he said.
