PYEONGCHANG (South Korea), March 17 (LETA) - Latvia's Martins Dukurs triumphed today in the season's final Skeleton World Cup stage in Pyeongchang, which will host next year's Winter Olympics.
M.Dukurs finished his two runs just 0.01 seconds ahead of South Korea's Yun Sung-bin.
Meanwhile, Martins' brother Tomass finished the stage in overall third place.
M.Dukurs finished the Skeleton World Cup season with 1,662 points, followed by Sung-bin with 1,623 points. Russia's Alexander Tretiakov finished in overall third place with 1,454 points, while Tomass Dukurs finished in overall ninth place in the standings with 1,218 points.
This is the eighth year in a row M.Dukurs has triumphed in the Skeleton World Cup.
