EPA 2012-06-20 19:04:54 Six lions killed with spears outside Nairobi
A handout photograph provided by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) shows its rangers loading one of the six lions that were killed by the residents in Kitengela, in the outskirts of the capital Nairobi, Kenya, 20 June 2012. KWS says residents in Kitengela speared to death six lions overnight after the animals strayed from the city's national park and killed four goats. Those killed were two adult lionesses, two young adults and two cubs. According to KWS, the country has been losing 100 lions a year for the past seven years, leaving Kenya with only 2,000 of them.
