This photo taken on August 3, 2012 shows director Andrew Wollman (silhouetted R) watching as host Chrissa Villanueva speaks into the camera while taping episodes of 'Hello Pop!', an Mnet America production on current Korean pop, at a studio in Culver City, California. With a fast-growing population and higher than average incomes, Asian Americans would seem to be an ideal catch for advertisers, but the community long lacked the nationwide media outlets of other communities so in hopes of seizing an untapped market, Mnet, the first round-the-clock Asian American entertainment network, has been expanding across the United States with programs ranging from Korean pop to US-produced animation.
