Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi signs the guest book at the Nobel institute in Oslo, Norway, 16 June 2012. Aung San Suu Kyi called for coordinated international help in implementing reform in her country, in her Nobel lecture on 16 June, 21 years after being awarded the peace prize. The Nobel laureate said she was 'carefully optimistic' about her country's democratic reform process. Suu Kyi was awarded the peace prize in 1991 in recognition of her non-violent campaign for democracy and human rights.
