Floribert Chebeya a well-known rights activist in the Democratic Republic of Congo, was found dead on June 2, 2010, after having been given a rendez-vous with the Inspector General of Police and an army general. His body was found with traces of handcuffs on the wrists and his driver who disappeared was never found.
