The video news from LETA Video, informing about the social, political, entertainment, culture and sports events, have become an important information source that gives the viewers near-firsthand experience of the events.

The news videos are prepared in conjunction with news agency LETA News Department. Information about the global events is brought to you through adaptation of video materials presented by LETA international partner agencies, Reuters and AFP.

LETA Video was set up as a separate LETA entity in 2006. Initially LETA Video produced news for the television channel TV24, but since end-2007 LETA Video news videos have also been put up on the Internet website http://video.leta.lv.

LETA news videos quickly gained popularity at the leading Internet portals of Latvia: Delfi, Apollo, Tvnet, Diena.lv, Tv.lv and NRA.lv. For customers’ convenience, the news videos and other video material can be re-published from the LETA Video website. The largest TV companies in Latvia also use the material from LETA Video in their broadcasts.

Taking into account customers’ interest in documenting their organizations’ activity, LETA Video also offers individual video production services: the filming of corporate events, presentations, press conferences and others, as well as professional editing of the material.
