EPA 2012-06-25 06:01:37 Rescue work to evacuate baby Mahi in Haryana, India
Baby Mahi's photograph is shown by her relative as search and rescue work continue to evacuate her in a village near Manesar, Haryana, India, 23 June 2012. Baby Mahi fell into a 70 feet deep borewell while playing on 20 June. Rescue workers are trying hard to reach her through a parallel pit dug up along side the borewell. Oxygen has been continuously supplied to her through the borewell. Baby Mahi's condition is not yet known. More than 100 rescue workers from Indian army, police services, fire services and others are involved in the rescue operation. EPA/STR
