Media reports stated that Morsi on 29 June performed Friday noon prayers at Cairo's Al-Azhar Mosque, before heading to the iconic Tahrir Square to deliver a speech. Morsi is expected to take the oath of office on 30 June 2012 before Egypt's highest court, the Supreme Constitutional Court, ending a controversy over where the new leader was to be sworn-in.
