This picture taken on July 11 shows a group of Chinese workers taking a nap by the side of a street in Hefei, east China's Anhui province, as the summer heat sets in. A new amendment, officially published on June 4, stipulates that workers are entitled to receive a subsidy if they work outdoors when the temperature exceeds 35 degrees Celsius, or above 33 degrees for indoor workers, and they are allowed to stop working outdoors if the temperature exceeds 50 degrees.
