EPA 2012-08-11 15:17:42 Aftermath of the killing of six NATO soldiers in two incidents in Helmand
Afghan police check vehicles on a road side check point in the Qirshke distict, the first station outside Lashkar Gah city, in the volatile Helmand province, Afghanistan, 11 August 2012. An Afghan working for NATO-led forces in the southern province of Helmand on early 11 August, has shot dead three foreign soldiers in a joint military base in Garmser district of Helmand province. The incident took place late Friday 10 August, just hours after an Afghan dressed in a police uniform had killed three US soldiers. The incidents mark a significant rise in so-called green-on-blue attacks on foreign troops by their Afghans allies. EPA/SHER KHAN
