Reports state that more than 80 people have been killed by an earthquake and landslide that buried over 25 houses in Baghlan, northern Afghanistan. Twin quakes of 5.4 and 5.7 magnitude 30 minutes apart rattled the mountainous region from 1:03 pm (0833 GMT) 11 June, according to the US Geological Survey. The tremors were also felt in Kabul.
