Peruvian archaeologists found a prehispanic mine, with an antiquity of 1,600 years, exploited by pre-Inca, Moche culture, in Trujillo on 2012. The discovery was made near the city of Trujillo, 570 kilometers north of Lima, at a mountain called Campana, in what appears to be probably the first pre-inca mine to be discovered in Peru archaeologists said.
