The trial of 33-year-old Anders Behring Breivik ended 22 June with the self-confessed mass murderer demanding his acquittal over the bomb attack in Oslo and the shooting on the island of Utoya on 22 July 2011 that killed 77 people, arguing that he was defending his 'ethnic group.'
