Imran Khan (C), a cricketer turned politician and leader of opposition political party Pakistan Tehrik-e-insaf arrives to attend a rally against drone attack, Peshawar, Pakistan, 14 July 2012. At least 20 people were killed in a US drone attack late 06 July in Pakistan's restive north-western tribal region along the Afghan border, officials said. This was the first drone attack to be reported since Pakistan announced on 03 July that it would reopen NATO's supply route through the country, which was closed after a US attack on a border post in November killed 24 soldiers. Nevertheless, the US has persisted with the strikes, saying they help to kill militants hiding in the lawless border areas where Pakistan is reluctant to send its army EPA/ARSHAD ARBAB
