NASA flow director for Shuttle Transition and Retirement Stephanie Stilson speaks at a press conference Aiugust 8, 2012 to announce details of the transfer of the Space Shuttle Endeavour to the California Science Center in the shuttle's temporary hangar at the Science Center in Los Angeles, California. The five-story tall, 78 feet (24 meter) wide spacecraft is scheduled to arrive September 20 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and then on October 12 and 13 Endeavour will be transported along a 12 mile (19 km) long route through city streets to the Science Center.
