Latvia's GDP rises 5.2% in first nine months
RIGA, Nov 30 (LETA) - Data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) shows that in the third quarter of 2021, compared to the third quarter of 2020, gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 5.1 percent (according to seasonally and calendar non-adjusted data at constant prices).
It had previously been projected that Latvia's GDP in the third quarter of this year would rise by 4.8 percent.
In the third quarter GDP at current prices was EUR 8.9 billion. As compared to the previous quarter, GDP went up by 0.6 percent (according to seasonally and calendar adjusted data at constant prices).
At current prices, Latvia's GDP in the first nine months of this year was EUR 23.798 billion, including EUR 8.852 billion in the third quarter.
