    Up to 500 people may attend indoor events and up to 3,000 may participate in outdoor events as of today

    RIGA, Aug 1 (LETA) - As of today, up to 500 people may attend indoor events and up to 3,000 people may participate in outdoor events, according to the Cabinet of Ministers' Regulation on Epidemiological Safety Measures for the Containment of the Spread of COVID-19 Infection.

    The regulation stipulates that, today through August 31, up to 250 people are allowed to participate in indoor events if the area of the venue is smaller than 1,000 square meters.

    In addition, up to 500 people may participate in a public event if the venue's area is larger than 1,000 square meters.

    Finally, up to 3,000 people may attend outdoor events if no less than four square meters of the event venue per person are provided.
